Literary Maps Fancy a map of the locations in Wuthering Heights? There is an excellent printed map available from Literary Maps which also has maps of many other works of literature.
Wuthering Writes
There are many books about the Brontës but not so many about Wuthering Heights. Some I have read myself and can recommend. Any others may be fine but I cannot vouch for them.
Non-fiction
The Brontës by Juliet Barker. Weidenfield and Nicolson, 1994.
The definitive biography of the Brontë family. Well researched and detailed.
The Brontës: A Life in Letters by Juliet Barker. Viking, 1997.
Transcripts of virtually every letter and note written by the Brontës and many written to them. Barker has gone back to the originals where possible so very accurate.
Emily Brontë by Katherine Frank, Penguin, 1990.
A biography of Emily herself.
Emily Brontë: a Biography by Winifred Gérin, Clarendon, 1971
Another famous biography of Emily.
The Birth of Wuthering Heights by Edward Chitham. Palgrave Macmillan, 2001.
Fiction
Romancing Miss Brontë by Juliet Gael
We Wove a Web in Childhood by Ruth Thomas Website
